How it works

You must not be a trader/seller before you can create a market or store. All you need to do is to add the details of an existing trader whose' items would be sold ( on or off the platform) while you get paid daily (on commission). Make sure to add the store items and their prices appropriately.


Steps:

1. Create a free account. Visit https://umda.mobi and click on sign up.


2. Check your inbox or spam folder for confirmation email and click on the link.

 

3. Return to the website. Scroll down and locate 'Become A Seller' (vendor) and click on it or copy and paste :https://umda.mobi/vendor/createvendor/ in your browser. Note the registration would request your NIN for security while using the platform.


4. Login into your Vendor account and locate 'Create New Market'. Make sure to create a market you know that currently exists in a given physical location (public) or a market you stock personally (private). If the market already exists, you can differentiate yours.


5.Choose any convenient plan and make a token payment. 


6.You can create multiple markets and unrestricted number of free stores.


7. You are all set. The UMDA system will direct traders to your market (s). You can also add traders and items to your market(s) and stores by yourself. 


8. You can look up any other market and create free stores. Make sure to add your store items.


Delivery Service

As a market respresentative you are expected to have the contact of  at least one dispatcher available for pick up and home delivery of items in your location. For items heading away from a State or Nigeria, the UMDA employs the services of DHL and other 3PL service providers. The dispatcher is to drop off the cargo at any DHL office in Nigeria. Note you are to add the details of your dispatcher to our platform once so that our delivery staff can take over from there on your behalf. Visit www.umda.mobi, scroll down and click on 'Become A Delivery Agent.' Note that the UMDA Global Markets would pay the dispatcher for his services.


Note that the UMDA Global Markets is in synergy with the DHL to provide global parcel delivery.
